A chemical peel is when acids are applied to the skin to encourage dead cells to be removed or to stimulate your natural skin process to expel dead skin cells leaving the skin smoother, vibrant and create skin health. Using medical grade products ensures maximum penetration to achieve up to a medium depth peel. A medium depth peel is an professional process performed by a highly experienced practitioner .

So many benefits to peeling as it stimulates your skin to go from" couch potato and sluggish to gym buff and active and healthy" creating skin quality. This process slows down cells causing pigmentation but stimulates cells to produce collagen and hydration which means brighter, hydrated, healthy and less aged skin

Everyone has a consultation first before every peel, as so many factors will determine what peel to apply to your skin. First your face will be cleansed, face mask applied and then removed, acid is then applied. Your treatment is then finished with moisturiser and sun protection. Each product application is customised for your treatment and these will be discussed during your consultation.

The acid applied varies from lactic acid, salysilic acid or vitamin A. You can expect to feel nothing or a hot chilly pepper sensation on your face depending on the peel chosen for your treatment.

This is so important after a peel to ensure your skin repairs but also beneficially changes. All of this is discussed in consultation. A complimentary aftercare pack is included in the price of the peel.

Key considerations after your peel:  

You must use the provided aftercare kit for 5 days (provided to you free of charge), 

avoid hot steamy environments for 24 hours

No exercise for 24 hours.

Other Lifestyle factors will be discussed with you during the consultation and after the treatment.

Q: Will it hurt?   

 No there is no pain and the most you will experience is a hot chilli pepper sensation.

Q: Will my skin peel in sheets?

 No it will not as it may not peel at all, do not be disappointed as the skin will still be regenerated which is even better than physical peeling.

Q: What will my face look like?  

 Usually straight after your skin looks hydrated and vibrant and may look pink which usually dissipates very quickly.
